DQC is a terminal-based configuration and provisioning utility for Debian servers. It brings networking, hostname configuration, routes, updates, standard administration tools and optional server functions into one consistent workflow.

DQC attempts to detect existing configuration and installed components before changes are proposed. Dependencies are selected automatically when required. Before changes are applied, a summary is shown and a detailed log is retained after the run.

Current development areas

  • Network and hostname configuration
  • Routes and interface management
  • System updates and baseline configuration
  • Standard administration tools
  • Optional server roles and components
  • Dependency detection
  • Repeatable configuration workflows
  • Logging and change summaries

Status: Active development.
